YES, progesterone through the 12th week is completely awesome! It helps preserve pregnancy…I do wean my patients off in week 12-14 because your own body is making lots of progesterone by that time. I usually do 200mg/day topically in my gals trying to get pregnant…only days 14-28. If you get pregnant you stay on it, if you don’t (get your period) you stop. Dr.GB

How do you feel about taking bioidentical progestrone while trying to have a baby? Do you have any thoughts on that, because my sister and I both are trying and both of our progestrone levels are low?
