Kari--You can increase hgh naturally by lifting weights and creating more muscle mass...maybe not so attractive for a woman! Weight training does help it though. I do prescribe hgh in my practice. You can have your doc check a ILGF-1 blood test...measures if you are low in growth hormone. I do this and then either prescribe injectable hgh or precursor GHrH...It works fabulous but is a bit pricey..the precursor is about $80 for 6 weeks and the real hgh is $195 for 6 weeks. That is my cost on the drug...I don't mark it up for my patients so your doc may charge more.

I am currently on bio-identical hormone replacement and am feeling way better. I am curious as to how to improve my human growth hormone because I was told that I cant get it here in the united states and most hormone doctors do not prescribe it. Is it available or is there a program tohelp my body make more of it?

Thank you for the well informed website...I love it! Keep up the good work and thank you for taking womens health so seriously!
